One House Per Day no.373, by Alexis Luna and Chityee Ng, is a seemingly boxy house embodying a meandering passageway with a series of pockets, bumps and dead ends, like intestines. It is a mundane rectangular house that comfortably houses a family of four. This house has limited corners, rather curves are the rule of the land here, activities happen within curved pockets. While the bubbled roof maximizes sunlight entering the unit, the thick, curved walls of the house provide visual and sound escape from the neighboring bustle and cityscape noise, yet the rectangular massing disguises its differences from the city context.
