One House Per Day no.379, by by Alexis Luna and Chityee Ng, is a house shaped house carved out of a curved volume creating a hallway of trees and skylights. Mimicking a cave, the tunnel house creates an arcade of trees that can be seen from either entrance. Situated in hot and dry climates, the open ceiling allows for consistent air-flow along the house. Trees along the center of house give necessary shading yet trapping moisture within the house. The only thing guests had complained about during their stay are the unexpectedly long naps, fooling you to stay indoor instead of exploring the neighborhood!
